Overview

SHC offers a unique urban social justice-oriented experience, as part of a not-for-credit internship program. Students will live in one of Europe’s top University towns which is home to 100,000 students, sharing a modern residence hall with Italian and international college students. At the same time, they will be living and breathing the city’s unique approach to social justice issues, such as challenges of integration, gentrification, urban gardening and young social collectives. This urban internship experience is also deeply committed to learn about local to global sustainability and engage in grassroots efforts to preserve our planet.

Additional Information
- 5 site hours per day, Monday-Friday, plus 1-2 hours group and individual process work
- 2 to 6 students per internship
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Italian
- Final concluding project to present for portfolio/resume
- Scholarships available in cases of financial hardship
